1. Information We Collect

We collect your name, email address, phone number, and data from connected social media accounts (Instagram, YouTube) including follower count, engagement rate, content metrics, and other publicly available profile information. We also collect information you provide when creating your profile, such as your bio, niche tags, city, and portfolio content.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to power influencer-brand matching, display your profile to brands on our marketplace, calculate performance metrics (such as engagement rate and conversion rate), process payments through our escrow system, and communicate with you about collaboration opportunities and platform updates.

3. Data Sharing

We share your profile data with brands on our platform so they can evaluate your fit for collaboration opportunities. We share payment information with our payment processor (Razorpay) to facilitate transactions. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Social Account Data

When you connect your Instagram or YouTube account, we access publicly available metrics via the Meta Graph API and Google YouTube Data API, in accordance with their respective platform policies. This includes follower counts, engagement metrics, and content performance data. We refresh this data periodically to keep your profile current. You can disconnect your social accounts at any time from your profile settings.

GigTryst uses YouTube API Services. Information retrieved through YouTube API Services is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy, in addition to this policy.

When you connect your YouTube account, GigTryst accesses your channel statistics, channel profile information, and public statistics for your uploaded videos, on a read-only basis. This data is used to build and refresh your creator profile and to calculate the audience and engagement metrics displayed to brands. GigTryst does not access, store, or transmit your YouTube account credentials.

You may revoke GigTryst's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by disconnecting your YouTube account in your GigTryst profile settings.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit. Social media access tokens are encrypted using AWS Key Management Service (KMS). Financial transactions are processed through Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. We maintain audit logs for all administrative actions.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You may disconnect your social media accounts at any time. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data in accordance with applicable law, while retaining anonymized transaction records as required for financial compliance.
